It's a 1995 Honda Civic LX that I've named Killswitch. It's two-toned because the last owner's wife got it in a small accident. The front of the car had to be replaced (the engine and all were fine, it was just some cosmetic body work), so it's all good. Quite a steal for $2200.

Oh yeah, and that's my fine ass in one of the pictures.

Congrats man, my first (and current) car is a 93 Toyota Camry wagon. Yea, it's pretty much #####in'. But it still runs fine, no leaks after 173,000 miles. I'm kinda amazed, leave it to the Japs I guess right.

My brother wanted a Saab for the longest time. Now he's driving a Chevy Lumina van that he doesn't take care of.

I can't drive to save myself, so my first car is unlikely to ever exist.

I blame OutRun and Crazy Taxi.

Nice. Honda are good cars, and as long as it brings you from A to B, who cares.

I do not own a car, but there's always one around with the door unlocked, so.

Wise decision.

My Saab has this crazy-awesome cupholder thing that you push and it retracts out from the control panel in some ultra-cool motion.

I tell people it's the only reason I bought the car.

They just say "you didn't buy the car," and I can't really counter that because my grandpa bought it for me.

But sometimes, if I'm in a good mood, I say I won it on Legends of the Hidden Temple along with a box of Ring Pops.

I haven't owned my own car yet but the first car I had unlimited access to and could drive was a 1990 Volkswagen Jetta. And it was the bomb. But it was old and although it was in INCREDIBLE shape it was time for it to roll so we now have a new Pontiac Wave on lease.

Our Pontiac has that.

Thanks. The guy I bought it from told me that as long as I don't get in a major accident, that car will run for close to forever. And with only 139,000 miles on it after 13 years of being on the road, that's pretty damn good.

Oh yeah, and I know this is some late news, but I got my license on July 9th. I wasn't sure that I would pass the parallel parking, but after I did, the rest was a piece of cake.

My mother told me that when she was younger, if you wore a skirt, the instructor wouldn't make you parallel park.

When I took my test, I tested that theory.

I didn't have to parallel park.

"So, Mr. Wily, the last part of the test is the parallel parking.  And there's no reason to be nervous."
"Ach, I have no vorries about this part, Mr. Instructor."
"Alright, but before we begin, can I ask why you're wearing that plaid skirt?"
"Um...it vas in mine size?"
"...Fair enough. You pass the test."
"ACH! I CAN DO ANYTHING!"

I got my permit about two weeks ago.  And I can definitely thank Mario Kart for all the eye-road-blueshellabouttohit coordination it taught me.  I'm a freaking awesome driver, and everyone who rides with me tells me that.  I drive my mom's Chevy Beretta, can't remember the year, but it drives great. I'll get the specs about it later.

My mom was driving straight at a green light, and a guy turned in front of her, smashed the side of her car, and started driving down the wrong side of the road. She found out later that the guy just got his license the day before.

Sound familiar, dear ASR? *KA-GLARE*

I didn't get the ticket, some asshole pulled out of the car wash and couldn't make it into the lane in time so the sides of our cars tapped as he tried to make it in while I was shifting lanes.

Though admittedly, I was still in the wrong and should've been paying attention. I could've easily avoided it.

At least I don't wear skirts.

You're missing out. They're hella comfortable.

And while we're talking about crashes, my friend just got into an accident a few nights ago.

He walked away from this:

Friends made some cracks on it. I got to school real quickly and they asked me if I ever snaked getting there.

I need more lanes to do that. I also wish I could hop in my car.

EDIT to Edge: WELL #####.

Amazingly, yes.

He has some bruising, cuts, and probably a few bruised ribs, but all-in-all he's okay.

At least, we think he is. He's too stubborn to see a doctor.

What actually happened? It looks like half the car decided to forcibly end it's relationship with it's other half.

Also, I'm ignoring the talk about driving permits and Mario Kart as when you two are like a year older you'll realize how gay a conversation that is.

Honda makes a fine car, so I'm sure Speed is happy with this thing.
I used to have an old Accord that was some ten or eleven years old, and only broke due to a rare factory defect that popped a bolt out and jammed it in one of the belts, blowing the engine (just about).

But I was still able to drive it for a mile after it happened. They're tough cars.

I'm not being serious at all, I'm just saying you're age and newness to driving is showing. There's nothing wrong with it, just... You'll see what I mean when the new driver smell wears off or something.

I just realized that no one questioned that the "Speed Racer" only JUST got his own car.
