Looks awesome, and made of even more pure win since Akroyd said it's basically the 3rd movie to the series, using the script he had in mind for awhile now.

Epic game is going to be EPIC?

Because everyone's too busy pointing guns at eachother over MM9.

So, Ghostbusters huh? I remember we talked about it a ways back, not out yet?

Right. Ghostbusters has never had a good game before, and history is cyclical. So we'll have to see.

I dunno, the Genesis/Mega Drive game was actually really awesome. It probably was made even more so by the fact that the rest of the games all blew more than those Airman songs combined, like you said, but it's worth noting as one of only two exceptions.

Only other one that seemed worth playing and fun at that was the PAL version of New Ghostbusters II, since Hal Labs was churning out the same sprites back in the early 90's even, but made a suprisingly accurate and pleasantly suprising game over the abomination that we got here in the states...

I've been keeping track of it. It looks spectacular but like Mike said, I have my doubts.

Which one are you talking about?

They're are two if them coming out, I think.

The real one, not the Wii/PS2 "lesser" version.

I doubt it'll be good due to it being of non-Japanese origin.

And I just checked the developer's pedigree and it is... not good.

(I can't spell)

Due to my current money situation, the only games I currently care about are Too Human and Fable 2. If I was still in college with money to throw every which-way, then I'd pick up Ghostbusters the day it came out.

The only thing that keeps me interested in this game is that Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis are writing it.

It makes me sad, but this is probably as close to Ghostbusters 3 as we're ever going to get.

The first movie was on TV the other day. I didn't watch it, though.

No thanks to Chris Farley dying.

Frankly, I never would have been able to handle him in a Ghostbusters movie.

His is just a different kind of humor.

He'd make a good ghost?

No. Not even that.

Slapstick was not the way of the Ghostbusters.

Yeah, it's entirely different styles of humor. Not even as a ghost.

Hahahaha.

Chris Farley isn't fit for Ghostbusters even when he's an actual ghost.

I've never really liked any of his movies; they're great if you're 13, but once you get past 18...he's just not that good. I've got a copy of Tommy Boy that my old roommate gave me when he bought the new edition on DVD...I think I'll be watching City Dragon more often than that.
