Anyway this is what's gonna happen all #####ing day;

Haha, so true. Let's just hope we don't get another "THIS IS CINEPLEX" moment and have a woman physically get FP'd for saying something bad about Brawl.

At work today this game was brought up a surprising number of times in conversation. Apparently Nintendo screwed over a lot of game retailers in the area, so when I said that I didn't preorder, all I got was "... Good luck."

Eh. I'm resorting to checking different areas with a small game section instead, but I still have doubts that I'll be the only one who thought of this. Either way, it won't be the end of the world.

I feel like such a douche with all this excitement right now, but a lot of people I know are actually sharing in that excitement so it seems kind of justified in a silly way, but it's just awkward. I was yappin' with a dude named Gonz' about it and his girlfriend was sitting right next to him and she was all *blankstare*. And then I had a copy of It in my hands and I said randomly, "There's a bird in this book" and you'd be amazed how many people thought I meant it literally. Literally? Well, physically. I just got past the part where the guy pwned a giant bird, and it was too random for me to take seriously. Like, there was a tiny fear factor involved, but I was still laughing more than thinking "OH, OH #####, DODGE IT MIKE, DOOODGE!" Granted there've been parts that REALLY freaked me out and the book so far is pretty damn epic, scary or not.

... Uh, so yeah, Brawl. Luigi's Final Smash is awesome.

My dad doesn't want to stay in front of the store for two hours. I'm hoping that there's not that many people getting it at the Gamestop I go to.

I mean, there's 4 Gamestops 2 miles away from each other, there's Wal-mart, etc.

Stand in front of the store?
HAHAHA, they'll be open early and having tournaments and crap, or take a DS and use the wireless demo thing. Jeez, all Gamestops are having tournaments I thought.
They will not close until maybe 1-2 AM.

Even if I get it tonight (which I won't because of weather, but my friend might get a copy for me and I'll pick it up later) I won't play anyone online. I can't really say why, multiple reasons I just don't feel like it I guess.

Mikero: I really don't blame you. I expect it to be incredibly laggy to begin with, anyway. Nintendo's already displayed a lack of preparation for Brawl, so they might not even have enough servers/machines/power/whatever to host all those battles.
Nova: I suppose it depends what kind of place you live in?

First thing I think I'd like to try actually is the SubSpace Emissary, unless there's more than one person who wants to play with me when I get it.

From what I've looked up, it was released in the late 90's... PC game. I don't know what to say about it other than it looks like a space game.

It's got something to do with spaceships. I guess you just fight and upgrade them and stuff online. And late 90's is correct, since it was 1998-99 when I was in grade 7.
