Same, but I use it often. And every once in a while, like after an exam, they require you to show it.

My ID doesn't get pulled out much, but tuition came with a bus pass included, which I use daily. In fact, I think it paid itself off in about ten days.

School IDs and bus passes...
... do not have your birthdate.
... are not government issued, thus inadmissible as a valid form of Photo ID.

However, I've used it to back up my Driver's License when people think I'm underage at bars. I'm 22, not 18.

The only things you can use here are basically;
-A driver's license.
-A health card (but only the new kind that have photos, which is not the kind I have, and people can't ask you to show your health card, but you are allowed to show it).
-A First Nations satus card ("Native" card), a birth certificate (no photo, though).
-Or a government security clearance (like I have for work, no birthdate however but proves your identity at banks and stuff).

That guy can be seriously repramanded for not selling your friend a game. We're supposed to accept any government issued ID, including (but not limited to) ID Cards, Drivers Licenses, Military ID's, and birth certificates (which happens more often than you might think).

If he was my employee, he would at least be written up.

I'd like to know which EB that was too. I know some employees at a few around the city.

I'm not sure exactly where we were. We took one of the 95 Buses to this place with a bunch of shops and there was that Wal-Mart I was talking about and the Indigo book store near-by too.

The 95 cuts the city in half east to west, and the 2 cuts it in half north to south. So you're dealing with a big area. I know the 95's route like the back of my hand but I've no idea where you went, so I guess you walked somewhere from the bus stop.

I'm trying to think of where there's a Wal-Mart on the route. I guess if you walked from Lincoln Fields or the train station...

Yeah, it didn't stop us directly to the shops, we had like a five minute walk to get there. And we didn't get off at the last stop.

We were heading west from Baseline, anyway.

I think you mean East 'cause West from Baseline would take you to Fallowfield, and I don't remember ever seeing a Wal-Mart anywhere around that direction. Plus, from Baseline, Fallowfield is only a few stops since it's the end of the 95's extended westbound route (which usually ENDS with Baseline). But I'm not from Fallowfield/Barrhaven because it's stupid, so I don't know for sure.

I think there's a #####tly Wal-Mart near an EB on Merivale, but the 95 wouldn't bring you anywhere near there.

No, we really went west. And we drove for about 25 minutes.

If it's bugging you on where we went, I also remember seeing a Wendy's near by (not in the same street as the shops) and we stopped at a TD Canadian Trust bank.

Beside the Wal-Mart is an Indigo book store and across both of those stores are the small shops, with EBGames being near the end.

And that's all I can really tell you. If I ever head back there I can confirm where we went.

That sounds more like Merivale than anywhere west on the 95 from Baseline.

I don't really care, it's just weird because I know the 95 route like the back of my hand.

Could be worse, you could be me and have to buy 2000 points every time. Once I get my own I'm gonna load up on points, I'll be on the VC more than I'll be on actual Wii games.

Just use a credit card/debit card. I've found it to be MUCH easier than going to the store to buy only 2000 point cards.

I have 400 points!

How many times are we going to have this discussion of debit cards on the Wii system? Your debit card needs to have the Mastercard or Visa symbol on it to work. Otherwise, if you don't have a credit card, you're stuck buying whatever cards are offered in nearby stores. And whatever, use the extra and buy something else you like, because you're not going to refund it.

In Canada we actually get our debit cards from the bank, not the company that controls the bank.

So I borrowed that new Quantum of Solace video game from a friend, and played through the first few missions.

Holy #####.

This game is beautiful. The controls are so better to handle compared to Nightfire, and everything just goes smoothly. It makes that Goldeneye sequel look like #####, pretty much. It now takes the spot of one of my top favorite Bond games.

Goldeneye > Quantum > Everything or Nothing > Agent Under Fire > Tomorrow Never Dies > Rogue Agent

Nightfire and World is Not Enough are somewhere in last place. I have yet to play From Russia with Love, but I'm planning to purchase it real soon.

Mirrors Edge was pretty good. Short, and occasionally frustrating, but it does a pretty good job of conveying the rush that must be associated with parkour.

I was about to ask how you have it already, but I remembered you work at a Gamestop.

I would be getting that if BK3 wasn't $20 cheaper and looked like I'd get a lot more replay value out of it.

It was one or the other.

Edge, since you'd probably know, can I expect BK:N&B in stores tomorrow?

They shipped it to stores just today, so unless you live in the middle of nowhere; yes.

Also, I'm extremely fortunate in my pre-releases. My store managers score free ##### for different systems, and I'm the only one there who actually owns a PS3 (irony).

I'm sure it isn't very common in most stores, but I'm also sure our building manager is sucking the CEO's dick.
