I liked Wind Waker, but I never have felt compelled to play Phantom Hourglass.
I feel the same about this one.

It's not the graphics; I like those... it's just something about portable Zelda games has always irked me.

I'll be getting Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and Godfather II. I'm looking at getting Ninja Blade, but I'm not sure if I'll get it yet.

...Why is there a train?
I'm going to assume that that isn't a direct sequel to Phantom Hourglass.

*Sigh* It's a steam train. A #####ing steam train. The boat in PH is a #####ing steam boat.

Yes, it's a #####ing sequel.

Also, everyone go download #####ing Wii System Menu 4.0. It's #####ing worth it.

Eh, yeah, you're right. I was just being a butt to Sano.

However, it's obvious that they've taken a lot of resources from PH.

Yes. I hate it. Great music, though.
The only one of them I like much is Minish Cap, which is odd because I seem to remember not many people like it.

... I guess I should mumble something about waiting for the Metroid Prime Wii remake to come out, but honestly I'm still not sure if I even want to buy that.
I have like $50 of Best Buy gift cards, and there's nothing I want to buy when I walk through that place.

Only since you now have more space for your VC games.
You can not move the card to another Wii and play your games from there.
I paid for the things, and I should be able to play them wherever I want to, so until they fix that it's merely a space-saving device.

Oh, and don't even think about trying to mess with the files; if you read they suggest that they just delete anything you've tampered with. I know what they've done; they've put some big horrible checksums around various bits of data and then entire thing just to make it nigh impossible to pirate (which I respect, but if they've gone to this trouble then IT SHOULD BE SAFE TO PLAY THEM ON OTHER WIIS).

I now hate Nintendo so much I may never buy another of their games again.
I realize that I'm not making a statement to them, and that I'm just one person. It's not my intention to make a statement.

I'm just tired of being bamboozled out of my money time and time again.
That stops now.

People can bring their VC games to my Wii and I can play them. Well, maybe not anymore but that should be fixed soon.

I also have EarthBound as a VC game, lawlz.

Although, I agree. You should be able to play them on other Wiis- just make it so that you can't copy them.

Really not the same here. I love portable Zelda games, but Minish Cap really turned me off for a while so I never bothered with Phantom Hourglass. Link's Awakening is one of my absolutamenté favourites though, so yeah that's kinda odd.

Especially since at first glance, LA and MC have a kind of similar feel, with the whole "not so much Hyrule" kind of deal. But then, Majora's Mask had that and it's the 2nd worst Zelda game I've ever played.

But I own and did finish Minish Cap anyway. I don't like it, but it's not that bad.

Curious. I also dislike Majora's Mask.

There's also a possibility that I could simply be forcing myself not to want to play these games because I simply lack the money to buy anything. No idea though, and that has nothing to do with my dislike for the old Capcom Zelda games.

My favourite portable Zelda games are the Oracle games, first Ages and Seasons second. Link's Awakening comes third, but I may have liked it first if I had more nostalgic feelings towards it, since I played it AFTER the Oracle games.

I never liked Minish Cap all too much either. Not sure why, it's not a bad Zelda game but it's not good either, I guess. Didn't have all that much fun playing through it.

Also, i lovs majoras mask u guies suck stfu

I think I talked about Minish Cap earlier:

Basically, it's just incredibly mediocre. It's got all the Zelda elements, but nothing stands out, and nothing's really bad. It's like a straight line, with no pros and no cons.

There's one con for me, the game often leaves you in the dark about what to actually go and do, so I spent some time wandering trying random #####. And Zelda games can get complicated with their puzzles, so if you don't even know where you're supposed to be headed that'll ##### you up because you keep trying to solve puzzles that aren't there (yet).

I played it for more than an hour, but I never beat it. I borrowed it from a friend and got bored not too far into the game.

Strangely, I managed to beat the whole thing without much difficulty and find most of the secret bits, too. Missing some heart pieces but I've never cared to collect them all.

Most people don't like Minish Cap, though, but sometimes I have inverted mainstream tastes.

Y'know, ASR? I think you'd like Rhythm Heaven for the DS. Made by the same guys who made WW, but the game is centered around rhythm and music for its insanity.

Also, I think WarioWare Myself is a WW game where you can create and share your own micro-games... which sounds like your type of game, ASR.

Apparently DSiWare is crap at the moment. Nintendo probably wants to wait until they make a lot of money from the DSi being a new console before making alot of money because of a title being released on it exclusively.

I want a DSi, but I really don't want to spend $170 on the damn thing.

The DSi first week sales have outsold the DS Lite's first week sales, so Nintendo is already racking in the cash.

The only game I downloaded for it so far is Aquios which isn't a bad puzzle game. Kind-of addicting, but I'm done with it now.

I think it would be extremely awesome if Capcom ported MegaMan 9 to the DSi. I'd definitely re-buy it just to be able to play it on the go.
