While I considered it for awhile, I ultimately chose not to sell my Wii.
There may not be much on the system right now, but I think patience will pay off in the long run.
Also, JC, I completely understand how you feel. There's a part of me that is very much afraid that I'm falling out of love with gaming, because it just doesn't pull me in like it used to. I really, really don't want that to be the case, so I'm currently telling myself that it has more to do with this generation of games than anything else.

No more pencils, No more books I built a city out' one brick, it had a Mayor and a Crook I made the Crook stab the Mayor, then slay himself in the guilt I stole the brick back and migrated east, now let's build.

It's kind of like the movie Running Scared. If you just let the experience wash over you, it's pretty good.
The moment you start to think about things, however, it all goes to hell in a hand basket.
I enjoyed No More Heroes simply due to the fact that I have a friend who, at least I'm pretty sure, sees himself this way.
Not that it's even remotely true; with the possible exception of the insane fan-boy-ism, and general complete lack of social grace.

I sort of have to play devil's advocate to you guys and say I'm kind of hoping I get more out of gaming. Right now it's fine, I'm playing one game at a time and then moving onto another straight away, but come August I have to cut that out completely. I'll have to not play games until around this time next year. OK, so it's not really something I want, I just have to do it that way. Anyway I never tried No More Heroes. I don't have a drive to, but I wouldn't mind checking it out if the planets so aligned. Posted on: 3 July 2009, 21:53:09
This game is out already, I think, but I'm not playing it so this seems like a better thread to ask; What's with the Goldeneye quality graphics in the backgrounds of The Conduit? I mean, I don't care about graphics really but this is still a 2009 Wii release. Granted I've only seen a screen or two but it looks pretty rrrough.
