Recipes, to be exact.

If you have your very own, unique recipe for a certain food or something of your own, let us know! Give us ingredients, directions, etc. or just share the kinds of foods you really love.

Chron and I were talking on AIM about our taste in foods which later led to a discussion of a place I used to work at called Carmela's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. I've made something similar to this, but I wanna try and remake it into perfection. I call it the Italian Gumbo Pizza (name still pending)

No real instructions, and I haven't really made it as I say below, but I will soon enough and see if it's good.

Basically, it's a pizza. Any kind of dough, although I want to give it a zesty garlic taste. Pizza sauce with a kick of cajun. The pizza is topped with italian sausage, pepperoni, proscuitto, hamburger (or meatball), covered in shredded mozzarella and pepperjack, then covered with banana peppers, jalapenos (optional), with sprinkles of crushed red peppers.

If you decide to find this yummy and want to try to make it yourself, do it however way you want. I have other italian ideas that may sound cooky but could make tastebuds bow down. I won't share them until I try it out and see if it's actually worth sharing.

NOW ITS YOUR TURN.

We didn't get around to this while we were talking, but I make this delicious chicken curry dish with chickpeas. Can't really remember the recipe, but it's good stuff.

Goes nice with basmati rice.

I made this beef curry recipe based off of one made in an episode of One Piece.

I put apple skin and yogart in it, like in the show... and it wasn't half bad, actually.

Instant Cup-Cake

Get regular flour and cake mix of any kind, along with 1 egg, milk and sugar. Put 2 table spoons of flour and 2 table spoons of cake mix in a mug, mix 1 table spoon of sugar (and a pinch of salt). Crack in the egg and put 1 cup of milk in, stir very well. Put it in the microwave and cook on high for about 5 minutes, the cake will rise out of the mug, careful for it not to overflow! Take it out when done, it should be good and ready and taste JUST like an actual cake.

Also, experiment with other foods by trying ANY condiments, maple syrup goes great with all kinds of stuff!

I have a recipe for Nanaimo bars I need to try.

I make the most incredible Caesar (yeah that's right) nachos you've never heard of. I rarely make them anymore but I've always gotten rave reviews.

Someone once told me I make good chili, though it's not for the feint of heart.

Someone else once told me that I make good chili, but it makes you ##### blood.

I'm unsure how to feel about this.

OK Ok ok okay. I'm clearly too happy 'cause this isn't a big deal at all but I just made chicken fried rice for the first time, without any directions at all. And I'm eating now, and it's really good. I'm very happy.

... Yea... I didn't really learn to cook much when I was younger so anytime I make something new-especially from scratch without a recipe or anything-I'm a bit proud.

But this actually is REALLY good too.

It's not really all that hard.

Some pastries are tough, but I've never tried any (besides pie crust).

I can experiment with whatever I like and I can find.

I don't cook. I don't know what to make. I don't have any recipes. I tend to eat microwaved stuff anyway at home.

Fast food is just the once in a rare blue moon thing for me. Although that new Shroom & Swiss burger at Burger King looks rather scrumptious any day of the week, I wouldn't plan on going there for anything else.

I'm not averse to eating at A&W (of course, that's partly because I worked there for a year and thus I've assembled a legion of 'orders that actually taste good'), but most other fast-food can go to hell.

(actually I used to love root beer, this is from oversaturation arising from abuse of free drinks for employees.)

A&W is only OK as far as root beers go.
I'd normally say Jones Soda makes the best, as they don't use any high fructose corn syrup, but then go outside of the US and that stuff is illegal anyway.

IBC.

IBC is the best root beer.
And cream soda.

End of discussion.

IBC is fantastic.

And y'know what, you're right.

It is the best.

But A&W is cheaper and more accessible for me so it's better FOR NOW.

I can make eggs...and this really really awesomely good Peanutbutter and Chocolate shake. But it's so thick that after one glass you're so full and you can't eat anything the rest of the night. It's amazingggg.

I'd prefer a morning breakfast consisting of country-fried steak, eggs over-easy, hash browns and country gravy.

Orc-stew.

It's a recipe I created for a Halloween Dinner in high school. The reason why I named it Orc-stew was simply because it LOOKS awful but tastes like heaven.

You need about 2 cans of chicken stock (I like low sodium).
About 6 oz of angel-hair pasta.
1 can of whole olives (black)
6-8 whole ocra fruit (frozen is best for this)
chicken meat of your choice, about a cup and a half. (for any soup, the thigh meat is the best)
1 cup of some other vegetable of your choice (I like mushrooms and broccoli, green onions are good too.)
 3 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup of onion
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tsp oyster oil
2 eggs.

Cooking instructions.

Chop the garlic and onion.

Cut up the chicken.

Take a pot, put it on the burner, add enough water so that it covers about an inch to an inch and a half of water all around. Make sure it's a pretty good sized pot.

Add the garlic, onions and chicken meat. Simmer covered until chicken is done.

Add soy sauce, chicken stock and oil.

Add vegetables (olives and ocra too) You may also put in the pasta if you want.

Cook/simmer until vegetables are tender and pasta is done. You may wait until the vegetables are tender before you add the pasta though. If you do, just cook until the pasta is done.

Once the pasta is done, take the two eggs and beat them slightly in a dish before adding them SLOWLY while STIRRING. Once they are added, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for about 7-10 minutes.

Enjoy.

Once done it should look NASTY but it actually tastes really good and is really good for you. If you like spices, you may put in any of your choice. For example, I really like ginger and tarragon so I put in that sometimes.

Yeah v.v I mean okra. I misspell it every time without fail.

I'll get some pictures when I make it next. And it is a little like a gumbo, but soupier.

The whole point for this recipe was to make it LOOK bad and gross. And it does.
