I think the only difference in Green was the sprites... and the title screen of course.

I'm still waiting for that Gold/Silver remake... it'd be nice.

Green sprites look like ass, but I don't totally mind since Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise still look OK.

I really can't believe the Machop line. And they ruined my Growlithe.

I would have preferred Gold and Silver Remakes. More memories. <o
